About

Tilda Lovell’s work mostly originate in found objects; fragments of things that has had another life before the one she wants to give them. The use of for example craniums, bones or roots from dead animals and trees gives the work an existential tone.

During the last years Tilda has been inspired by the world of Hieronymus Bosch. Lovell materializes the creatures living in the dark of the shadows; the ones you glimpse in the corner of your eye, and life appears in new forms in her carefully sculpted sceneries.
